Turtle Island - Oak Island

The best seafood on the island with a friendly staff that always makes you feel at home. I always look forward to my visits there.

The food at this restaurant is top-notch, and the service and hospitality are exceptional. I had a fantastic dining experience at this cozy hometown restaurant that I would rate 5 stars. The prices are reasonable, and the atmosphere is laid-back, catering to both fancy and casual attire. I absolutely love it! I am looking forward to visiting again in October 2009 for Oyster Fest and can't wait to return to Turtle Island for another delicious meal.

Awesome spot. Great seafood, friendly and fast service. Crab dip and grouper were both fantastic. Saved my wife and I two nights in a row when no other restaurant in town had availability for dine in OR take out in OCTOBER! Highly recommend.

Awesome food. Was seriously impressed with the dining here. Wait staff, bartender and hostess were exceptional. We will definitely be eating here again. The food was perfect and shrimp were some of the freshest and best I have ever had.

Very nice restaurant. The crab stuffed flounder with hollandaise is killer. Its basically a crab cake but instead of breading, it’s surrounded by flounder. Most restaurants mess up hollandaise by making it too buttery. Hollandaise should be that perfect balance between the richness of the egg yolks, the butter, and any extra add ins. I’m pleased to say that Turtle Island’d hollandaise is perfect in my opinion. The grits were also absolutely phenomenal. Best grits I’ve ever had, and single handed my made me want to try the shrimp and grits next time I go back!
