Pelican Seafood - Oak Island

Absolutely loved the dining experience. Great food. For dessert, I highly recommend the coconut cake w/the key lime filling. O, man. You have to taste it to believe it. Great atmosphere.

Delicious! So far this is the best seafood we found on this island. The roasted cheese ravioli was great! The crab cake is the best I ever had! They wouldn't make my chips folly what was a bummer, and I don't see what was the big deal with it. The hush puppies are big and so delicious! Great sweet tea and good ranch (which is hard to find). I highly recommend it. There is a completely different menu for dinner, but we came to lunch. And the staff is so nice and friendly! Def check stop here for a good meal.

I have to try Swains! FRESH local fish seafood. Delicious homemade Hush puppies with blackberry pepper diving sauce (only enough kick! . Homey, beach fack atmosphere. A bit expensive, but if you want fresh locals and want to support a family business, Swain's is the place in Oak Island! Service was also friendly, efficient and pressureless. I have the chance to relax, enjoy and catch up with an old family friend.

My husband and I both thought the ribeye was one of the best we have ever had, and we can be fairly picky. Market fresh grouper was tender and flavorful...The asparagus side was great, too. And I don’t know where to begin on the dessert! I’m still dreaming about the carrot cake with cheesecake in the center. Thanks for a fabulous dinner last night!

Fresh seafood and great drinks. This was our second visit to Swains and we love it. Will start putting this on the list when we are in town.
