Humpty's Big Plate Diner Oak Bluff

Have ordered from this restaurant before and had good service and food. The last time I was there, I ordered fish and chips, the fish was extremely overcooked, to say the least. The batter was so hard that it shattered when you tried to cut it. I was extremely disappointed, I may return to this restaurant at some time, but my last meal certainly put me off.

I appreciated the fact that the breakfast special allows you to pick 4 items out of about 12 choices. However, the portions sizes were small, especially the pancakes, which were small and flat. Otherwise, food taste and texture were as expected for a highway diner.

Pan scrambler was most excellent. Server was very nice.

It was Busy. And Service was Great!Food was delicious. Came around refilling coffee in timely manner.

Our waitress was a rare jewel, exceptional. I have to say our meals were certainly filling. They ended up being pretty stodgy, to be honest. We’d both ordered scramblers on the assurance that one of the orders could sub poached for scrambled. But they chose to chop up the eggs! Odd as can be. Coffee aroma held a lot more promise than it delivered.
