Kallu Nihari - Nueva Delhi

Giving 5 rating purely because of the taste of Nahari. A very small shop running by its third generation now. Don't come here if you want hygiene, civilized staff. Be ready to experience some raw side of Old Delhi when you plan your visit. But the Taste is worth over any other thing :

It took me 3 trips to realise that the only way you can get a plate is by being there as soon as they open up. The staff were friendly enough to accommodate me inside the kitchen and served me one of the best Nihari I’ve ever had in my life, loaded with bone marrow, roghan, chillies and Ginger and by the time i finished up, they had sold out the stock of the day.Words can’t describe the experience, I would give it 5star and more for the taste and experience.

Locating this place was such a task but everyone was highly recommending this place for nihari. Walked for around 2 kms to find this gem hidden in the narrow streets of daryaganj through jama masjid. And then as expected, there was a hevay waiting, but after waiting for 15 mins finally got my hot plate of nihari and khameeri roti.Nihari was thick and texture was so amazing with fat floating on top and fused with flavors, this place can not be missed. But when here, let go of your consciousness of hygiene or anything related. But this walk would be a ride for your taste buds. Highly recommended in old delhi area.

'Kallu Nihari ' is just a foodies ' place. No ambiance, no proper seating, but go there just for having delicious nihari. Kallu is still preparing the nihari in a traditional way, and that is the real reason of its amazing taste. When it comes to Beef vs Mutton, I can say that whatever you can do but Mutton nihari cannot compete with Beef 's one.
