Blaues Haus - Nürnberg

Picked up food there twice to get a quick fix during our takeaway experiences. Their portions sized are huge, so it's kind of good value for money. Do not expect culinary highlights. It's solid, hefty meals like Schnitzel, Corden Bleu, Käsespätzle... all a bit...on the heavy side for digestion. Tastes fine though

After spending a few days in Nuremberg, we were very disappointed that we could barely find schnitzel. We finally asked a hotel employee where to get schnitzel and she suggested this place. The place was empty on a Monday night, so we had the full...attention of the staff. They made sure we had everything we needed. The schnitzel was excellent and it was huge portions. We wished we had shared one portion instead of ordering separately. They even gave my son a free portion of ice cream for desert. We will definitely eat here if we find ourselves in Nuremberg again
