Sushi art is a small sushi chain across Dubai that offers some of the better “chain” sushi in my opinion given that it is not a one off outlet sushi store. This specific outlet was new to me and so I wanted to check it out as to be honest I have never actually been to a sushi at restaurant. The focus here is much more on takeaway then dining with a lot of sushi options already prepared and chilled in attractive simple looking boxes. You can get all the options that you would come to expect including maki rolls, fresh sure she me, miso soup, fresh salads and of course a small selection of deserts including fresh cut fruits and cheesecakes. I ordered a selection of maki rolls which included some vegetarian rolls, a crab roll (something like a California roll) and and a salmon role. The vegetarian role was surprisingly good and simple: it’s contains toasted sesame seeds inside of the role which I thought was a nice touch as you get a generous warm hits of surgery. The whole selection is quite large and 464 dear rooms I think this is good value considering we are talking about sushi which of course is always more premium then your average sandwich place. The miso soup is hearty but of course is not as in depth in flavour as say the miso soup you would get in a more upmarket restaurant. I also ordered a fresh carrots salad which comes as a side dish to the sushi rolls (you get to sidedishes including the miso soup which means that the price point is really good value). The carrot salad is small but quite tasty as it also includes a hit of orange juice which brings additional sweetness and freshness to a small crunchy and healthy salad. I would definitely come back here again. This seems to be a slightly hidden and less known outlet within the otherwise busy business area of downtown. If you are a lover of sushi you might find the food here a little basic or what is sometimes called entry level sushi. If you are someone who enjoys sushi and you want a break from the usual day today grab and go lunchtime options, then this is a good option. If you are looking for a healthy lunch alternative that does not include a salad (which seems to be the only option these days) then I recommend checking it out. As this is a small outlets it means that there are not many staff. You can expect a rush at lunchtime so you can expect to wait if you do not take one of the ready-made options. If you are in a rush, I recommend just picking up some of the ready-made options and making a run for it. There is the option here to sitting and eat.
