New York Bbq Catering - Nowatney

Ordered off DoorDash. Food Mac and beans tasted OFF. Flavor tasted like seasoning that’s been there for a while and the bbq chicken was not bbq flavor more like watery sour expired flavor… idk

Burnt ends mac cheese and collard greens is off the chain! Definitely recommend stopping their if you want some BBQ!

Hate to complain about a small business but this is literally the worst tasting BBQ i have had in my near 50 years of life. ? Disgusting. You have been warned. Lighter fluid meat/ribs/tips is greasy fatty chewy cheap meat. All sides taste nasty like smoked vinegar burnt taste that you cant swallow because the vinegar is so prominent. I wasted 70 dollars on this place to feed my family and the only member that could stomach anything was my dog.LITERALLY The entire meal had to be thrown away. I know BBQ and never had worse. Also order was wrong. 20 dollars for the so called NY Combo but where are the grits?? NEVER AGAIN!! GOD I hate giving my hard earned money away. You got me NY BBQ. but never again. First time LAST Time. ???

My boyfriend were excited to order from NY BBQ based on the awesome reviews so we ordered quite a few items.The first issue was, our order was totally wrong secondly most importantly, the food was awful!The ribs, rib tips sausages tasted like they were soaked in lighter fluid and placed on the grill to make sure the lighter fluid got cooked right in.Also, the corn, collard greens even the baked beans all tasted like they were poured out of a can and cooked in a pot of vinegar.I was so hopeful that I had FINALLY found a good BBQ spot here in Tampa, but the search will have to continue.

Beyond a doubt THE worst BBQ meal I have ever had in my life. The Mac and cheese is mushy and soured, the collard greens, I can't even describe the repulsive taste let alone texture. There was collard green juice all over in the bag as the container had been placed upside down. I'm a New Yorker and this is NOT NY BBQ how can you even serve this slop? Yeah, not a happy camper here. Huge waste of time and money never again. You should be ashamed of yourselves for even being in business!
