Bj’s Alabama Bbq! - Nowatney

Excellent bbq. The smell of the outdoor bbq will entice you and bring you in. The ribs are great, large and meaty. We shared a half rack for two people. The bbq beans have a little sweetness that balances very well with the meat. Excellent Mac n cheese and cornbread as well. All the sides are made in-house.

So happy to have some good ol' homestyle Alabama BBQ here in Tampa! Reminds me of home! Lovely, kind people and great food!

Food and service was amazing. White meat boneless chicken had an awesome Smokey flavor and I loved the green beans! I loved all of their smiling faces even more!!

The food was amazing! Glad we got stuck out to sea courtesy of Hurricane Idalia. We had a 12 hour layover so we stayed at South Tampa Hotel and Suites and were about 100 yards from BJ’s Alabama BBQ. The staff was so kind and nice. Being from Nashville, I know good BBQ. This is the real deal. It would be worth driving at least an hour to get some amazing BBQ.

Love at first bite, Best BBQ in town without a doubt! I’ve been coming to BJs every week for over a year. They are well worth the trip every time! It somehow gets better with each visit? Definitely give them a try! Everything is amazing but my favorite is the beef sandwich with potato salad and Mac n cheese!!! They treat everyone like they family, with a great atmosphere and great people!
