Fred's Inn - Norwich

I was in town to announce the race at Unadilla and they put us up at Freds for the weekend. Room was great, food was great, Robert the bartender was on point!! What a great experience and friendly staff !! I will only stay at Freds when i come back. Thanks guys.

Porterhouse steak is great, cooked perfect all the time, drinks always come quick, and service awesome. Love this place great family atmosphere.

Out the gate I have to say the service was EXCELLENT. Neil consistently checked in, was friendly and cheerful, just a wonderful service experience. The 2 stars is because of the food. I got the filet mignon. The outside was so burnt it was inedible, yetsomehow the inside was still raw beyond the medium rare I ordered. Medium rare ain't *chewy*. On top of this, there was somesort of lemon flavor throughout the meat that completely overpowered any actual meat flavor.

My husband and I needed a place to stay last weekend for a wedding we went to in Norwich. After doing much research all the hotels out that way had terrible reviews. We stumbled upon Fred's Inn and can't say enough. It's an old place so it had somenegatives such as the room smelled like cigarette smoke and the TV kept cutting in and out but nothing too serious. The womanwho takes care of the rooms, Denise was fantastic. Unfortunately we were not able to try the food because we had the wedding butthe menu looked great! If your out the Norwich way, I would recommend staying here!

We stayed at Fred?s Inn this past weekend for 2 nights. It was very clean and we had a very large room. Only downfalls we?re the bed was not that comfortable and the shower did not have great water pressure. Other than these minor issues we would certainlystay here again very nice staff and very quiet!
