Costa - Northampton

This is for Costa at Tesco store. Sign saying due to staff shortages only serving take away, but people were sitting down. The person who served us was too busy looking at friends photos on her phone and talking rather than paying attention. Another member of staff asked a lady to leave and was extremely rude about it!

Excellent customer service, excellent food and the hard working ladies are always so lovely especially Aneta which I always have a positive experience with. She makes my drink the way I like it and always remembers my order which makes me feel special haha.

Ive ben there Just today on3rdoctober 2021 before i checked online opening Times showed me 8am on the door as well showed 8am but one lady was inside (staff) she told me very ruud "Not we not open at 8 Just 9am cause i came to work right now and i have to set up all caffe shop to open lovelly sunday morning but not for evryone hope some Can do something or maybe Just open from 12 o lock so staff Can sleep longer

I only ever come into Costa for a hot chocolate in the morning before work. Occasionally I will treat myself to a muffin or something, though on the occasions I've done this I've found the food to be rather stale and dry (not to mention high in price for what it is), so I tend to steer clear if I can help it. The drinks are up to standard however, and although the staff are usually somewhat blunt and disinterested, I have yet to receive bad service in terms of manners (they always greet me with a hello, always say thank you/have a nice day, always ask if I want sprinkles on my drink, etc) and I have never had a botched order. This Costa always has a wide selection of seating. There is a main downstairs area, an upstairs area, and an outdoor section. I always choose to sit upstairs as it is often fairly quiet early in the morning.
