As my partner and I are new in the area that opened a new franchise here, we had parked and wanted a coffee. We went to Northampton Coffee and was greeted with Wut, condescending and Vitriol Verbiage. She even went so far to mention how terrible Patisserie Lenox is and “never support her” as they let people sit. After another incident of her funeral, we decided to take the 10 minutes walk to the facility that so outraged this young angry barista from NH coffee. Thank you. As we found PATISSERIE LENOX and its amazing menu of exquisite drinks and gourmet bakeries and overall good vibes. Patisserie LENOX also takes COVID precautions very seriously, but also the customer with amenities to make it even safer for the cartridge. They even made a division of “in” and “out” to protect their customers even more. (see photo) The prices were also shocking more than reasonable for what looked like art.. They make everything from scratch with the best ingredients that are even organic and locally produced if possible. The visual pleasure at PATISSERIE LENOX is tailored only by the taste of everything we have ordered. Thanks again to this little taste of France and her Barista Colton, who did a fantastic job.
Beautiful small café and bakery right in downtown Northampton. I found that first when looking for a place that sold macrons near my mother in law. (Not a short trip for us, would not have saved for a special medical appointment in the vicinity. Have not yet broken into this, but Moms super enthusiastic haha~ is pictured Amaretto, Chai, strawberry and champagne flavors. Also an icy chai for the ride home and that was excellent! Very fast service. Chai spices came the ice warm and peppery. Open Condiments Bar for drinks almost threw me, but once I found out what was available was very satisfied!! A splash of simple syrup was all the Chai needed, and a paper shield to keep my hands before freezing (like the usual New England Maniac I command ice drinks while it snows. Sad that we couldn't try anymore, but the menu and the ad looked fantastic. Maybe another time.
Good food, good coffee, great atmosphere. Beautiful breakfast and a coffee on day off.
Latte was on the point that her baristas seem to be well trained. But I write the review to not recommend their pastries their coffee. The chocolate almond croissant was sooooooo good. Cakey but still fluffy, just the right amount sweet. Her cinnamon-drill was light and tasteful. Will be back for more.
This wonderful pastry and coffee shop is now called Ana Bandeira Chocolates. I had a hot latte and tried their chocolate and chocolate guava croissants, both of which were exceptional, outstanding. Prices were low to moderate. Very charming European style cafe with lovely indoor banquette seating and outdoor bistro tables and chairs. Highly recommend!
