The Workshop Vegetarian Cafe

Required position in the neighbourhood. high quality vegetarian food almost all is vegan. comfortable sitting room in the interior/outside area and friendly staff.

Many vegan items in the menu and in the food area. my first visit I had the spicy ramen salat bowl, very tasty and completely satisfying. I took a zimtrolle (good and sticky, the next morning heated) and a day old hearty micro-minim pizzeria, which was very well heated the next day. Soft-serve vegan ice is here! Food is available, some chilled and frozen, including three types of gyoza, pizzateig and more. that would certainly be a regular stop for me if I had lived in the opposite. only 4.5 stars, in my books, as it is not completely vegan. updated by previous review on 2021-09-01

Was so happy with my experience in the workshop! I was looking for a nice lunch to meet a friend for a bite, and have now found a go-to place for when I am in north van! we both have the spicy rams and loved it, super fresh ingredients and so delicious

All vegetarian and vegan with many gluten-free options also. my spicy ramen (w gluten-free reisnudeln sub) was an artwork and delicious! the broth is made with butternut quesh and is beautiful and creamy without milk products. I am impressed! updated by the previous review on 2021-08-13

Small space offering a variety of Japanese bowls, avo toasts, coffees and smoothies. A large variety of treats on the counter (muffins, cinnamon buns, huge cookies and other Japanese inspired goodies) and many to-go items from a grocery/refrigerated section.
