The server was very friendly and accommodating. I was delighted to learn that meals were served with three sides. I ordered yams, greens and Mac/cheese. I found all to be tasty but the greens were a bit salty. I crumbled the sweet corn muffin in them and the flavor balanced out. I ordered the fried chicken as my entree, it was not as flavorful as I’d expected, an the breast was a bit dry. The fried chicken dinner came with three pieces of your choosing, with an up charge for all white. The restaurant was clean and nicely decorated. Overall I enjoyed my meal and the great service…I’ll be back.
I set outside of the store for about 5 minutes reading reviews. I was unsure if I wanted to go inside. I finally said let me go try it for myself. I have been wanting to try for a while but never went. I really enjoyed the food. I have no complaints. I will be going soon!
Great food and serviceI will definitely be back flavor is on point I had the oxtail, green, and black eyed Peas everything was seasoned so well, my husband had the pork chops they were so tender and seasoned as well best soul food in Vegas by far ? ? thanks to my son and daughter in law getting us to go they swear on this place and thank God cause I'm now in love with the place
My brother, his girlfriend, and daughter, took me here for my birthday lunch. Me and my brother ordered the oxtails, while his girlfriend and daughter, ordered the catfish. All our meals came with 3 different side dishes which is awesome. The meal was a little pricey, but I think it was all worth it in the end. The meal was very delicious. Would recommend and return.
The food was horrible. Everything tasted like salt only. The dressing didn't taste like dressing and had a think mashed potato texture. I had to spit it out. The Mac n cheese was very dry, salty and bitter. The collard greens were way too salty and dry. The pork chops, black eyed peas and cabbage were a little moist, but tasted like salt. The yams were whipped sweet potatoes and didn't have any flavor. The red beans and rice taste like Bush's baked beans over rice. The red snapper was hard and dry. The gravy was the best thing I've tasted, it wasn't all that great. I suggest ease up on the salt, and use other Seasonings such as onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, adobe, vegetable, chicken or beef stock, pepper, sage for the dressing, etc.
