Jim 'n Nick 's -b-q - North Charleston

The food and service was phenomenal. Went at lunch time and despite the fact they were busy we had really great service. (The appetizer of deviled eggs was so tasty I forgot to take a picture first so it actually comes with four halves). Also their version of Arnold Palmer was absolutely perfect! The food was perfectly seasoned and portions were shareable so we could both taste each other's selections. We revisited this gem with the kiddos this time and the peach tea is amazing we also had a chance to try the kids meals and the portions were filling they couldn't eat it all! My daughter even commented how busy it was but they had great customer service because the waitress kept checking in on us.

Today my husband and I went Jim and Nick’s for lunch. The waitress was super nice. The food we ordered was brought to us fast. The food was delicious. The brisket WOW!!!! Very good. Thank you so much. We will be back for this great experience again.

I am a brisket fiend and am very particular about it. I ordered the marbled cut and the flavor was phenomenal! The bark, smoke, and juicy flavor of the beef blended with the texture of the perfectly rendered fat puts this brisket as the best I’ve ever had. The mac and cheese, greens, slaw, fries, and ribs are good too. Ribs weren’t fall-off-the-bone, but the flavor was on point. The waitstaff is also very gracious as our waitress watched me have what I would describe as the big O when I took my first bite of the included cheese biscuits. We will definitely be back!

I had heard good things about Jim ‘N Nick’s for years. I’ve always wanted to try it whenever we travel since we have none in Kentucky. I was very impressed with the service and environment. The restaurant was very clean! I was also pleased with the family accommodation, they welcomed a family of 4 with open arms and were very helpful navigating us a great place to sit with a stroller. Finally the wings were amazing. I was very impressed with the taste of the Buffalo sauce.

Wow! The ribs were great (not falling off the bone, but tender and the BBQ was crispy and sweet on the ends). The baked beans and potato salad were good. The cheddar biscuits, though.....OMG! One could certainly hurt themselves on those bad boys!! Service was very good. Staff was attentive and quick.
