I've been to House of Soy in Bondi a handful of times in recent years and the food and service is always very good. One can't complain if they enjoy Asahi on tap and it would be wrong of me to say that the ambience...of this venue is quiet and content. It's anything but. A buzzing young trendy crowd, often tables of dating couples, always finds its way to House of Soy. The food is as authentic Japanese as the staff working there and the prices are reasonable if you plan to share plates. With quite an extensive menu, it's safe to say there is something for everyone. I highly recommend the Soft shell crab and Salmon Aburi Rolls. Three people, a few beers, entrees and mains total cost $100 AUD.

We had an early dinner here after a long coast walk. Nice views of the beach. Service was good. Toilets are down some stairs. I enjoyed a sushi and sashimi set. Very tasty. Miso soup could have been hotter. Wasabi could have been a bit...stronger. Would go again.
