Zorba's Grill - North Bay

My husband and I went through Canada on our way to a wedding in New York. There food is wonderful and very authentic. The waitress was very nice.

Back to Zorbas thought i would try something different in a greek restaurant and thought maybe speget and meat balls sure got a big surprise big meat balls and tender as good as you will get in north bay great sause and garlic bread will be back

Restaurant is down the street from the Super 8 and it was recommended by hotel manager. Guests of hotel qualified for a 10 % discount on food. Nice leisurely stroll from hotel. Arrived at 7 and was seated right away. Server was very friendly and informative and went into a lot of detail about the special, the different items on the menu and bar items. Even though I wasn't in a hurry had my hummus and bread very quickly which kind of got in my way of post card writing. Delicious hummus, made in the kitchen. Ordered the lamb souvlaki medium and unlike many places the lamb was tender and not dried out and tough from overcooking. The fries were delicious and the garnish of a bed of kale was a nice accompaniment to the meal. As for dessert had to pass on the cheesecake for just coffee. Overall I was glad I came and tried the restaurant. A bit pricey perhaps but my meal was good and it definitely felt as if I had been given a treat.

First time visit and it was an amazing treat. The waitress was very accommodating and although we had to wait a bit longer than expected for the food, it was certainly worth waiting for. Zorba's Grill had the best Greek Salad we have ever had. And the pickerel meal was also amazing.

Food was very good with good portion size. Service was excellent. Greek salad was good but pieces were a little big. Lamb was tender and house made hummus was spot on. Lots of parking out back.
