A-ok Berkshire Barbeque - North Adams

Very good! Two of us split a pair of pulled pork and sausage sandwiches. The sausage was especially flavorful, and the pulled pork paired nicely with the provided BBQ sauce. Don't waste even the dollar on the pickles small portion that may have been bulk purchased (not exceptional). Good amount of outdoor seating and would have paired wonderfully with some beer from across the street. Great lunchbreak while visiting Mass MOCA!

The pulled pork sandwich was really good. The buns are quality and the meat is delicious! The slaw is really good too. It's different from your typical coleslaw: vinegary, spices (caraway? , no mayo, but really good.

Nice set up with bbq on one side of mass moca entrance and brewery on the other... bbq is takout and you can eat it outside or in the brewery if bad weather. Collards great, beans very good, slaw taste may be adventurous for some, pickles were ordinary and not worth it as a side- they should be automatic on sandwiches however. No corn bread offered and they were out of baguettes which were on the menu. Mixed bag with the chicken. We ordered a quarter with darkmeat only which worked but the half chicken dark-only was half whitemeat. All the chicken meat itself was tasty and moist. However the skin, which should have been the most flavorful had the texture of a shower curtain. It looked good, had seasoning on it but could not be bitten, chewed or cut making it a kind of plastic wrapper to throw away. When we inquired about how it got to be that way and if it was normal, we were told it was smoked and if we wanted to know more we would have to wait for the manager to return. We should have taken the advice of others and stuck with the sandwiches.

Absolutely wonderful! I’ve had the chance to enjoy this authentic and delicious food since 2019 but didnt realize they would have such yummy vegetarian options *my bad! . The yamwich blew my mind and the slaw was so original and tasty. Service was perfect ! We enjoyed lunch across the way at the brewery. Def recommend this spot for a tasty veggie option

I had the Yamwich with BBQ sauce to go and it was so delicious! I love when a non-vegan restaurant has a solid vegan option. Very tasty--even meat lovers would enjoy it. I will definitely stop by again.
