Bries Beach Club - Noordwijk

I try to come to Bries every time I visit the Netherlands. The service is always amazing and the food is lovely. I had the seafood special which was amazing.

Went there for lunch with my wife. Been there before with business partners before and then it was okay. Not so much this time! Club sandwich was unavailable. Let's be honest what could a kitchen possibly run out of? My wife ordered a soup and a burger instead. More on food quality later. Promised. After taking my wife's food order the wait staff asked me if I wanted something to drink. Hm, what about my food order? Oh yes I was going to order a soup and burger too. Ok, the soup (Asian Bisque) was okay but luke warm at best. My wife's burger was blasted on the broiler on the outside but raw inside, not medium. Burger is small on a big bun and basically tasteless. Staff is generally inattentive and could not care less. Payment with credit card seems to be an intellectual challenge too! Better go to Zuiderbad next door for great food and better service.
