Gioia - Nice

We were looking for an internet to find a nice quiet restaurant in our neighbourhood. we found this about the forks. beautiful quarter and only 11 minutes walk from our hotel. we did not make a reservation, but that was not a problem (we only registered after 19 hours). eating was really nice and certainly repeat again!

We had a very nice Italian dinner in gioia. the Burratta Caprese was excellent as the bark and fish dishes. the only disadvantage was that it was quite loud, so it was hard to hear their travel companions.

Beautiful place to have some drinks. with nice dj, who plays well. also eating was good and the staff was extremely helpful. highly recommended.

Only a short walk from our holiday apartment, website looked good. Restaurant was not busy, 2 other couples dining. We were told by a rather nonchalant young waitress to sit where ever we liked. Menu board was given and when waitress came back for our...order two of the dishes, from a small menu were not available . Should have been taken off chalk menu. Food was average, service bad, considering restaurant not busy. Asked for a bottle of water twice, we never received it but was charged! Had to go to bar to pay bill as waitress was busy chatting to male customers at bar.
