My husband ordered our drinks, a pint of beer and a smirnoff ice. There were 3 people at the bar, there was 1 bartender and 1 server and us 2. After 20 minutes of watching both bartender and server converse with the 3, and then, watching our server head outside for a break, I approached the bartender and asked if we could order from her. She took our order, 2 orders of Buffalo butter wings and 2 orders of cajun wings and 1 order of wontons. After we ordered from bartender, our server then approaches, and acts like its perfectly normal to make the only 2 people there wait 25 mins to order food....an empty restaurant!! Minutes later he came out carring a pail of wontons and dipping sauce. We get food, BUT NO PLATES OR NAPKINS!! Our drinks are pretty much gone, waiting now to see if anyone asks us if we need a refill...never happened. Not once.The cajun wings come out, there's NO cajun spice on these wings, they're plain. The Buffalo wings come out and even the server had no idea what kind of wings they were, but we all agreed it wasn't Buffalo. 4 servings of wings, a pail of wontons...in a restaurant, and still no plates or napkins given to us??!! We went to Chip n Charlie's to get another drink. THAT experience cost us $100. Bring your own plates, napkins and booze if you eat here.
Not sure how this place went from being amazing place to absolute dog poop almost in over night. You order a gin and tonic and they don’t know how to make it. The menu changes every night depending on the cook working. I ordered fires, it took 40 mins and then was told it never got ordered. Staff have NO CLUE what is actually going on. I hate to bad mouth this place cause I use to really love it. Was there a few times a week. New mgmt have killed this place. So sad
Niagara best kept secret for great tasting pub food.Mindi our server took our order with a friendly style and brought everything perfect.The restaurant is under new management and is doing a great job..we will return.Parking: It was a little odd that all the prime parking dots were tagged motorcycle only...but...there are lots of spots.
I recently visited the Restaurant at Regency Athletic Resort, and I must say it was a complete disaster. The level of service provided was abysmal, and I cannot stress enough how disappointed I am with my dining experience.Firstly, the waitress took an eternity to bring our drinks. We patiently waited, growing increasingly thirsty with each passing minute. It seemed like an eternity before she finally made her way to our table, completely oblivious to our parched condition.To make matters worse, we were shocked to find an additional charge on our bill. The waitress unilaterally decided to add a tip without even informing us. It's astonishing how she assumed we would willingly pay more for such horrendous service.But that's not all. the Waitress managed to forget the entire order for two people. We sat there hungrily, eagerly awaiting our meals, only to be met with disappointment and empty plates. It was as if the concept of fulfilling a basic order was beyond their grasp.Adding insult to injury, the waitress displayed a remarkably poor attitude throughout the entire ordeal. Not only did she neglect to provide us with menus, but she also seemed disinterested in our presence altogether. After waiting for a staggering 25 minutes, we took matters into our own hands and had to retrieve the menus from the bar ourselves.In summary, my visit to the Restaurant at Regency Athletic Resort was an absolute nightmare. The waitress's incompetence, made for an utterly frustrating and dissatisfying experience. I strongly advise anyone considering dining here to look elsewhere for a restaurant that values its customers and provides even the most basic level of service.
Stopped in june 8th around 745pm. Me and my team play softball at this resort, so we figured we would try out the restaurant. After we sat down, we had a big table around 12-14 people, so wait times were expected, and we ddnt have a problem with it. After ordering our drinks, we had to ask 4+ times for menus, just to end up going to the bar to get them ourselves. Eventually when our server came back to take our order, i ordered a large pizza and a side of deep fried pickles. After about 20 mins food started to come out. I got my side but no pizza. Fast forward another hour and a bit, i still had not gotten my pizza, and another customer ddnt get a SIDE OF FRIES that she ordered. Apparently they both got lost when taking all the orders. Completely ridiculous. AND after all that, the bills came with a *AUTOMATIC* Loaded 18%tip loaded into the bill (which is ridiculously more then our server deserved) which they ddnt tell us about, so she ended getting 25-35% tips from everybody because they failed to mention it. To say this was my absolute worst restaurant experience ever would be an understatment. Its a shame because the atmosphere of the place was great otherwise.
