Not authentic Italian food anymore : Haven't been to this restaurant in many years. It used to be in a small, quaint location the food was good. The food is now overpriced not good. There are many authentic Italian restaurants in Niagara. I wouldn't waste your money here.
Caution for groups of 6 or more: we were charged $60 for gratuity tax! This was in addition to the bill. The food was decent.
We had a great experience at this restaurant. The ambiance was delightful, our server was very attentive, and the food was outstanding. My daughter loved the gnocchi with gorgonzola sauce, the lasagna was tasty, and the manicotti was delicious. The ricotta cheese filling had a unique texture and flavor, and the sauce tasted very fresh. The bread that came with the meal was soft on the inside and had a chewy crust.
Had Dinner at Mama Mia's Tues. Dec. 27th with another couple. You could smell the Italian Cuisine as you walked in, and Mama's Homemade Sauce was displayed for purchase!! Had a lovely table at the window, with Shelley as our Server. Great food, the Special, Short Ribs on Rice was to die for!! along with Spaghetti Carbonara, and the Fettucine with Mama's Homemade Meatballs and Mushrooms. Nice bottle of wine to accompany the dinner, but too full for dessert!! Great atmosphere, excellent service, amazing food. Definitely a must dine at restaurant when in Niagara Falls.
