Mickey's never dissapoints. Always go there and still to this day havne't had anything bad. Everything we've eaten is good.
I was starving and it was 11:30am and I wanted something tasty so this place seemed to tick all the boxes. I figured they would have lunch up and running for lunch. I ordered the fish and chicken tacos - $7.00 each. They arrived quite quickly but some major let downs. The salad fillings were yummy - fresh coleslaw but the chicken was under seasoned - no seasoning . The fish - hot but bland. If you're going to do any kind of Mex then do it right. Make it tasty and I'm not talking about crappy Old El Paso. Design your protein to complement the yummy veggies/salads in your tacos.Everything was bland - the interiors were worn and tatty. The staff couldn't care less but I guess that's what you get in Paddington - a worn and tatty Sydney Suburb. Their website says they've had the same owners for 20 years. Perhaps it's time to move on.
Highly recommend the breakfast menu - it's just gone up in price, however they fixed the free wifi so it was worth it for us. All other menus, especially the drinks, look incredible. Can't wait to try them. Eggs Benedict must be tried!
After a trip to Beach Burrito Company, we stopped off for dessert at Mickey's. I ordered a chocolate fudge raspberry ice cream sundae, and it was HUGE - I didn't manage to finish it. It also tasted fantastic. I can highly recommend this place for desserts!
