Old Store Cafe - Newton Grove

We stayed at this exit for gas regularly on our trips to Surf City. The shield has decided to check it. We were blessed with some of the best food I've ever eaten. Special of the day BBQ Chicken..had fresh corn on cob green beans. Was the best chicken ever to die 1/2 of a chicken, great smokey taste for BBQ sauce was also pleased to get a brownie for dessert. Will definitely take precautions to be Ther before closing again. Everyone was just so friendly....so glad to support the locals too!! Thank you for an unforgettable experience!

Hungry and needed a break from driving. These ladies know what they do! Breakfast was delicious, got my goose repair and enjoyed every minute of southern charm and hospitality! Nothing beautiful, but a great meal with a cozy atmosphere!

That's as good as it will. Great flavors, very reasonable prices, wonderful service; But the pure perfect South Hospitality was the best product served by large staff and all cartridges. I love the food. Great service .....best tea and strawberry pie in the world. One of my favorite places to socialize over a good meal. I love the owner and the help.
