Great customer service, servers and awesome management. They catered to my needs and never looked at me funny because I wanted a cheese less pizza! My hubby enjoyed his pizza as well! We will come again because service was excellent! Thank you!!
Frank Pepe is evidence of a higher power that has seen in her almighty wisdom the generosity to share with us a perfect pizza. Last night was the first time in almost a year for us, and they haven't skipped a beat. Ordered a large takeout tomato mozzarella pie, half olive and half meatball ricotta. Seven thumbs up.
Frank Pepe was a good experience. We had fast service and the pizza was great. We got the tomato pie which had basil, mozzarella, tomato, grated cheese and olive oil. The coal fire gave the pie a bit. It was delicious and worth every penny. Definitely, recommend you go try for yourself.
I had heard many tales about Frank Pepe's white clam pizza, or just their pizza overall. Charred in a blistering 600-degree coal oven, those pizzas are legendary and upon finding out that one of their new locations was nearby, out in the Chestnut Hill Mall, I had to check it out. We arrived on a Monday at 2PM and had to wait in line for about 35 minutes before being seated. The place was hoppin' but the staff did a great job with setting line expectations and also explaining their shtick. The menu was simple and to-the-point and because of my seafood allergies, I couldn't order up their famous pie but instead opted out for another one I had heard good things about: the original tomato pie. The small-sized one was 9 and my wife's smal pepperoni pizza another 10.75. After about 15 minutes the pies arrived and boy were they delicious! Cooked to perfection, with some bits of char here and there, it was totally worth the wait. The tomato pie is unlike anything I've had here and basically is a red pizza with just three simple ingredients: crushed Italian tomatoes, olive oil and pecorino romano cheese. No mozzarella or anything else. It's simple but it works. The service was friendly and attentive and while waiting in line isn't always fun, in this particular case, it was worth it and the hostess did do a good job at trying to predict how long we'd be in line for and was right. And while there will also always be a line at this location due to it's relatively small size, I look forward to queuing up again for another slice. This place is a great addition to the area and their prices are reasonable, especially when you consider where it is located. Even their glasses of wine are 5 a pop, which isn't bad. They also have some neat Foxon Park sodas which include diet white birch soda, Gassosa, kola and diet kola as well as root beer and cream soda.
We shared a. Medium clam and Medium fresh tomatoes. Both pies were delicious and hot. We took half of each home for another meal
