Sneakers Sports Bar & Grill Uptown

The food at this restaurant was extremely disappointing. I would not recommend eating there. The server seemed embarrassed to bring out the dishes, and many items on the menu were not available. The menu itself was not impressive, and there was a noticeable sewage smell in the restaurant.

We have actually eaten here a few times in past years, but the last two visits were more recent, and were pleasantly surprised by the newer menu choices and the quality and presentation of the food. Someone is doing all the right things to garner a clientele with a slightly more sophisticated pallet than just that that is seeking out wings and chicken fingers and we wish them the best of luck. If I had any suggestions for improvement at all, it would be a name change. It really isn't indicative of the improving caliber of the establishment and may be turning potential new customers off. The wings (not breaded which I like) and fries (homemade) were good. The caesar salad and burgers were disappointing. The server was very nice and attentive but the pub is pretty dirty.

Bar, not grill. I don't know what I was thinking. How can you mess up wings? They were way over cooked and as small as you'll ever see. I went with a buddy and thought we'd have a quick beer before the movies. Floors and tables were sticky, it was dark and stunk of spilled beer.

I am impressed with the recent change in management at this restaurant. Travis is amazing! I would give it a solid 4.5 rating.
