Hmm seems that some people had a much better experience than we did. We went last weekend and asked what vegan options they had available. You had only one brownie, so we had it. While the portion size was good, Brownie was really stable as if he was sitting there for days. It was a fairly cheap and mischievous version of a brownie without much care put into it. Too bad we had no such good experience as others here, maybe they only had a free day.
This is a perfect place for a date. The decor is full of flowers and the color pink. I had the milk less milkshake. It had oreo, vegan brownie, coconut ice cream and a soy milk coconut milkshake. It was really delicious! Would recommend 100%. It's her only vegan milkshake. It was estimated at 7 pounds.
When my friends suggested afternoon tea for a Christmas treat I thought 'Oh god.... How am I going to do this one '. Side note... only 6 months on the vegan path. My friend said she looked into it and British Cupcakery do a vegan afternoon tea. Phew! I wasn 't expecting the standard that I got though!! In almost all cases they mimicked the standard one to perfection. The only exception was the cheesecake but instead I got a lovely donut and brownie. Mmmmmmmm! Devine! I would of given this a 5 out of 5 but not allowed as it 's not a fully vegan or vegetarian restaurant.
The pancakes and milkshakes were delicious, and the cream tea was excellent. The restaurant has a beautiful decor. However, the disappointment came when our ordered items were served separately and not all together, leading us to believe that part of our order was forgotten. The wait staff were friendly when taking our orders, but lacked enthusiasm when delivering them and clearing tables. Overall, it is a nice place that has the potential to be exceptional.
