We had prime rib sandwich with fries $12 ....excellent,hot sausage sandwich with fries, $12 no complaints on this one, nice spices and the Cobb salad was huge, yummy and was big enough for $13. Great selections of beers on tap, wines were good choices margarita excellent. Chef Bryan came out and what a great guy! Hoping they start their prime rib night again. Beautiful view of lake from patio Open We'd-Sun 4-close. Check it out [hidden link]
It's hard to find a place to have nice food. This place might be my choice when I come next time. Comparing to the restaurants around the area. It worths 3* and a half rating. They have 16oz prime ribs for 2 for only $29. In addition, they are well cooked and tastes nice. The bartender makes nice drinks. They don't give a drink menu, but definitely try White Russian. It's good. The service was also good when I visit. I highly rate this restaurant.
Mountain Spirits Tavern is the eating and drinking establishment for the Mountain Edge Resort and Spa. It occupies a large facility at the end of the lobby area as soon as one enters the resort. And it has monumental views of the lake, mountains and forest surrounding the resort. The place had been recommended by a friend and we came in after reading a review in another trip advisor website as no one had reviewed it before on Yelp. Mountain Spirits could be a busy place and a small gold mine for the resort but it doesn't advertise as it should and therefore a lot of the clientele is either hotel guests or locals who know a good place to eat because the place served superb faire and the service was excellent. Our waitress was an expert. She knew when to be there when she was needed and knew to leave us alone when we did not. She knew the beer selections like the palm of her hand, recommended the plates and was superb in every respect. We asked for the rob plate, a delicious baby back selection and a shrimp stir fry that left us totally satiated. We had no room for dessert. Definitely recommended
This place is definitely a let down. All frozen food, stale beer definitely not luxury at all. You know the food is bad when the bartender recommends the shanty down the street (which btw was delightful
Mountain Spirits is permanently closed. The building is closed and is now occupied by Ziggy's Pizza, which so far has been great!
