Bann - New York City

I have to say that this restaurant is a great option for Restaurant Week. While there were a few things that prevented it from being a five-star establishment, I would like to highlight the positives first. The kartoffel croquettes and sesame chicken wings were exceptional appetizers, prepared with care and packed with flavor. The unique sauces added a delicious touch to the dishes. The desserts we tried were also distinct and not overly sweet, making them a standout. The quality of the meat for the main courses was top-notch, though I found the dishes to be somewhat lacking in originality and a bit pricey for Korean BBQ. Nonetheless, the flavors were on point. The service was a bit slow due to the busy nature of Restaurant Week, but that was to be expected. I would consider revisiting for the desserts alone.

This is one of my favorite Korean restaurants. I particularly enjoy their happy hour until 9 o'clock. My favorite drink is their lychee martinis. Everything on the menu is delicious. We started with sushi rolls, croquettes, and chicken wings for appetizers. For the main course, we had the chicken bibimbap and salmon. It was an excellent meal.

I had dined at Bann before COVID and was excited to try their Korean BBQ again. The service and food were excellent, but the tables were placed too closely together, which was quite inconvenient. This was the first restaurant where I had to ask the hostess to move our table due to the lack of social distancing. I have visited several restaurants since the pandemic started, both indoor and outdoor dining, but I felt uncomfortable and my concerns were not taken seriously at Bann. I would not recommend dining here at this time.

Everything was perfect. it was our first time to eat there and we will definitely be back.
