Alachi Masala - New York City

Alachi Masala is a lovely place! The group I run at Columbia comes every semester for a celebration, and Amin and the rest of the staff give us a great deal on a family style dinner. The service is lovely, the food is good, and they have a BYOB policy. Highly recommended.

We gave Alachi Masala a try with our kids. We tried the chicken curry and lamb rogan josh, both of which were full of flavor and perfectly spiced. The kids loved their chicken kids meal , and the service was excellent. We highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for authentic Indian food.Food: 5/5

Getting to this place is easy. It was our first time but worth the experience!For appetizers, we ordered Pakora and chicken tikka, and both of them were really good. The ambiance of this place is good too. We ordered chicken biryani for the main course with a spice level of 4/5 and it was really spicy. The staff is friendly and cordial.We will definitely visit again to try other dishes.
