The Uptown Garrison - New York

Decent food but what I like most is the atmosphere. Nice, big and airy. I like to go in on a Friday around 4pm and have a martini at the bar. The staff is setting up for dinner. There are usually a few afternoon workers at their laptops finishing up their remote-work. A great neighborhood locale for hanging out and meeting friends. We often get take-out from here when we want something better and classier than the average take-out place.

The portions are small for delivery but the food is really good especially the pizza. I would eat here in person next time.Food: 5/5

THE GARRISON PLATTER IS THE BEST PANCAKE/ BREAKFAST PLATTER IN NYC. I have tried many diners and brunch spots but this pancake reigns absolute supreme! It’s crispy on the outside with the fluffiest interior topped with the most delicious jam and fresh fruit. The first bite is always magical. The bacon is thick cut with the best balance of seasoning! I’ve been coming here for years on an almost weekly basis for my pancake fix. It’s truly ruined any other pancake I’ve tried since.

We came for happy hour after work and the bartender was amazingly attentive and made great drinks! We grabbed a snack when we were there which was fine but the drinks were excellent! I highly recommend this spot as a happy hour location!Food: 5/5

Amazing quality food if you're going for brunch, pizzas and cocktails are great for dinner or lunch. I had the platter for brunch and the family had the breakfast sandwiches, they all loved it and pricing was decent $80 bucks for 5 of us). The food was also very filling!Food: 5/5
