Mino Brasserie - New York

A western village charme serves very good French cuisine both traditionally and with accommodating staff.

A baked cadry was delicious, the wild scallops were perfectly cooked, the cheese plate was well portioned and came with beautiful gadgets, the wine was quite expensive and paired nice thanks to the waiter's recommendation. a few too often someone came by to clear plates that were not finished is the only smaller commentary.

Food was great. Deviled eggs appetizer was perfectly done. I had the Coquilles St Jacques which were excellent. No rubbery scallops here. My companions had the salmon and Ribeye. Both were impressed by their meal. My only complaint was that the noise level was so loud that we couldn't hear ourselves across the table and it wasn't even a weekend. Otherwise it was a good experience.

Such delicious French classic bistro fare and attentive staff. Can get noisy when filled, go before 7:30 pm.

While they accommodated our request for a different more cozy table… Sadly even after emphasizing it was a birthday dinner the restaurant/service didn’t make an attempt of the expected such as bringing out a candle for making a birthday wish.
