Kirin Seafood Restaurant Starlight

Given that we reside in Richmond we typically visit the Shang location on Saba Road. What I discovered was that the female servers were communicating with us in the Queen's English while in Richmond the language of preference was Chinese (Cantonese or Mandarin dialect). We were fortunate to have Fanny serve us, she went out of her way to make us comfortable without being intrusive. Personally we preferred the food in Richmond as opposed to Queensborough Landing. That being said both locations were great.

I've been there once. The food was okay, lot of things you can choose from if you a meat lover specially pork but not enough option for vegetarian or fish only dishes. The ambience was nice and with traditional seating arrangement.

If you're craving some noodle soup then this is the place. Right by the Starlight Casino in New West. You can pick from a large assortment of noodles,toppings and soup. I really like the spicy soups.Honestly the food is really good but the service is exceptional too. Really attentive staff. Be sure to try the deep fried wonton wrap as a dessert.

Great place for Chinese noodles in New Westminster. Restaurant is right next to Starlight Casino. They have a wide selection of noodles in their menu. Plenty of parking since Shang Noodle shares the parking lot with the casino. Staff are generally friendly. Restaurant in New Westminster is more spacious than the one in Richmond. I preferred the New Westminster location. The mens washroom is clean unlike some other restaurants. Recommended place for noodles.

One of my favorite restaurants in Queensborough landing ! Love the varieties, tastes and service especially with our tight work schedule as they can always take our order over the phone prior to our arrival, and the food was always ready when we got there!
