Boston Fish Rest- New Smyrna Beach

Excellent food, we all had different seafoods and all were good and nice size portions. Local friend recommender as best seafood around..

Everything was cooked to perfection. Crispy fries and fish with a side of coleslaw. We ordered the larger fish and chips and shared. It came with two sides so we each got a slaw. The waiter was very prompt ant attended to our needs.

We went to Boston's Fish House 3 times during our week in New Smyrna Beach. Enjoyed seafood fried, blackened and grilled... onion rings, fries and cole slaw were good too. Fast friendly service and lots of food for the price.

Captains platter was nothing like it used to be. Oil was not fresh and Big scallops and large chunks of fish were chewy and had very little flavor. Very few clam strips and fries. Onion rings were thin and very few. Used to be wide and sweet flavor. For 35.00 I expected better quality and quantity. It used to be my place to go for new england seafood.

We have eaten at this restaurant many many times but we took special people to celebrate their anniversary and birthday and we were really disappointed with our meals for the first time ever. We were actually quite embarrassed after the buildup that we gave and the meal that we got. I could not even rate it a one star. Sorry but you will not be seeing us again or any of our family because I would be ashamed to bring them to this restaurant again. I've been coming for a long time but won't be coming anymore.
