Nana's Cafe - New Haven

The food is fantastic and the service is exceptional at this local restaurant, which is my personal favorite.

For a small “hole in the wall” place, the food was wonderful. We watched them make fresh batter for the sandwiches, slice the pork, put the bread crumbs in a paper sack and shake it… Nothing frozen and pulled out of a box from Sysco! Great place to eat!

The staff were very friendly and the restaurant was clean. We decided to stop by while passing through town and were very impressed. My 4-year-old claimed it was the best applesauce she had ever tasted! I ordered Sarah's omelet with spinach and it was delicious. The over easy eggs on my wife's plate were cooked perfectly. We will definitely be stopping here again.
