That said, if the two main owners are not there, quality can sometimes get out. I have seen that more than once, so that they really need to have a system in place, so that the place is running when they are not there. But this is very rare. I'm here a ton and nine times out of time loved it, like the ones I went with.
Love the spiced water and the surroundings. I'd go back. I only had a salad that was small, but tasteful. I want to sit outside next time. The sandwiches looked nice and wanted to try something like that next time. Large selection menu. Have fun drinks!
Beautiful nice cozy establishment. Excellent food, breakfast especially although lunch is also great choices. Very clean, and private. All staff are courteous and extremely friendly.
Every Wednesday and Thursday Baldanza leads an incredible fixed price menu (3-courses $28) I am an expat and sometimes they have fish and chips there. They even served mine with garden peas, just like at home! Our tables of ten were in raptures throughout the entire meal. The picture is fixed. Clean, comfortable food for breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner.
I wrote the following review after a less than nice experience HOWEVER, the owner called me immediately the next morning and was immens apologetic for our less than desired evening. Errors happen in the service world, but if quickly cured, that will be the actual reflection of a company. So I draw my rating from a 1 star to a 5 star in the face of such a fast and real response from the owner. (previously published)..... Fabulous food, but extremely bad management style. After a table reserved for four in advance, ordered appetizers, main course and dessert, the review was delivered (which was not cheap, but food was worth it), at the same time waiter served dessert. And then the manager asked us to clean coffee served in minutes so that they can turn the table to another party. Why did they even offer the Dessert menu when they have to turn the table?? In the business to serve customers as a business owner myself, I would clearly have a management problem or lack of customer service labels or know-how. From my point of view, if your table has just spent with your establishment in less than 2 hours, you have to ask... who made this decision to ask us to leave the table. Too bad we won't see again. If the owner calls me to discuss, I left my phone number.
