Occasionally, the pearls are a bit overcooked, but I appreciate that Gong Cha stays open late for when I crave a late night bubble tea. Finding street parking can be challenging, but the staff is always quick and friendly.
I somewhat enjoyed my experience at this restaurant, but today a middle-aged woman added a tip for herself without asking. I had intended to leave a cash tip on the table afterwards, but decided against it. Additionally, they did not inquire about my preferred level of ice and sugar.
I walked several blocks in search of a Vegan snack option that was more on the sweet side than savory, and I was thrilled to come across Gong Cha's Vegan Dumplings! The customer service was excellent; an employee answered all my questions and reassured me about the ingredients I was unsure about (such as the mushroom bits that tasted like meat, causing me to briefly question if I was eating pork, and the tofu mixed with other vegetables was a pleasant surprise). The dumplings tasted delicious with a dip or two in the soy sauce, although I personally didn't find the soy sauce necessary. The restaurant accepts multiple forms of payment.
Coffee milk tea tasted like straight soap, pearls were disgusting. strawberry yogurt drink was extremely watered
Don't waste your time. Staff super disrespectful based off the reviews the ownership really needs to look into who they are hiring and provide training. Never coming back
