Hwy 55 Burgers, Shakes Fries - New Bern

This is the best place in James City for lunch. The manager is always friendly. The waiting staff is always smiling and great with the customers. The food is wonderful...always cooked for perfection. If you have a reasonable place to eat price wise and want to be in a fantastic, friendly environment, then Hwy 55 in James City is the place to be.

Hwy 55 is really good. The food is great all American cuisine with a great diner taste. I had the Andy size Bacon Cheeseburger with Fries and a hot dog. All three articles were really fabulous. Great hot and juicy. I enjoyed mainly red hit dog served on a freshly baked role. Great service! Only the disadvantage is a little dirty. But it's safe. And Pepsi products on tap....yuck. Other than these, they check great prices and good food.

Andy has big pommes and their shakes are awesome, but not very many vegetarian options. That can be bad if the rest of the family wants to eat there. But I love (most) from their food!

In My Humble Opinion.... The BEST Cheese stakes, Burgesr, Shakes hands down. We need one in Va Beach!
