La Braseria Iberica At Los Arcos

Having eaten here for the Christmas Day Dinner for 4 or 5 years, we were extremely disappointed this year. Starters were 'ok ', in fact, the Prawn Cocktail was a 'blast from the past ' in that it was served in a balloon glass as it used to be. All chose the Turkey main course which was very disappointing for several reasons. It was served on very hot plates strange for Spain! The potatoes were cold, and the Turkey was covered in an onion based sauce, which had too many flavours, resulting in a bitter taste. The Veg was OK, but not the ideal mixture choice with Turkey. We all chose the Christmas Pudding, one of which was stone cold and had to be sent back. Overall the quality and standard has slipped over previous years.

Great food and amazing service, really nice to get some decent food rather than the mass produced fried stuff that’s the norm in Nerja, Dorado had a few bones, but prawn stuffed sole was amazing

Dinner at Los Arcos, Nerja. Menu changed a lot since Covid but still a good place to visit.

El hotel era bonito, la habitación que teniamos nosotros era increíble y estaba siempre limpia. Sin embargo, hubo algo que nos molestó bastante. Cogimos este hotel precisamente por la piscina, y solo pudimos disfrutarla un día porque estaba en mantenimiento. En pleno verano, 2 días vacía cuando nuestra estancia era de 3, apenas pudimos bañarnos. Entiendo que haya que realizar un mantenimiento si un cliente ha realizado una queja porque se le ha estropeado el bañador, pero qué mínimo que intentar tardar menos en tenerla lista o, si no es posible, que hubiera habido alguna compensación económica. Por no hablar de que si no preguntamos, no dicen nada. Una pena, porque por lo demás el hotel era excelente, pero esta gestión nos enfadó bastante.

Me ha sorprendido a la par que encantado. El trato amabilísimo (Gracias Alicia), el apartamento muy limpio y cuidado, las prestaciones en cocina y dormitorios excelentes. Muchas gracias.
