We came to the family during the red days and were fully satisfied with every service. we booked a room that was equipped with: a bathroom, a living/kitchen provided with dishes and crockery, a double bedroom. children slept in the sofa that can be transformed into a comfortable and spacious bed in no time. in the closets there were pillows and blankets, while in the bathroom various towels and a soap; in the living room there was a TV and a window that gave on the balcony with table and chairs, the view is almost breathtaking on the snow-covered houses and the mountains. under the apartment there is a restaurant in which we ate on December and we were really satisfied, the friendly and friendly staff since we entered, they made us choose the table we preferred and then they made us sit. the menu was wide especially in the choice of pizzas that, in addition to the classic goits there were many originals, invented by them; then there were appetizers, first, second and contours. for the latter the choice was not very wide but still enough to think about it a little. the dishes were delicious and really abundant, in fact we have struggled to finish them; the quality was high and the prices in the norm. If we are in the area we will definitely return. super recommended.
We ate here for 2 nights over our 3 night stay. Naz is short on evening food options outside of your hotel and the Goldener Apfel was an inviting refuge from the snow. On our first visit we both had a Pizza each. These were home made, thin crust, proper Italian pizzas. Packed with flavour and of course, too big for 1 person. Reasonably priced as well considering the size. We also had the house red that came served in a quaint jug. I'm no wine expert but I know what I like and this went well with the food. On our second visit we opted for something different. I had a ravioli dish and my partner the schnitzel. While tasty both dishes were, literally in my case, dripping with oil. It was difficult to eat because of this and we felt a bit groggy for the rest of the evening. The staff were very welcoming, the restaurant was clean and I cant fault the pizza at all. Given the lack of alternatives available, without taking a short trip to a neighbouring town, the Goldener Apfel is far from a terrible place to eat. It might just be best to stick to the Pizza.
First time we were there. The village is a beautiful one on top of a hill. The restaurant is simple but food quality is good. Prices are very competitive and staff is professional and kind.
We've stayed here in the village for two weeks and have eaten in the pizzeria 5 or 6 times. It's very friendly and cosy, the pizzas are great and all in all it's really good value. A great one for dog owners too, our hairy boys love it too. Highly recommended.
