Las Espichas - Nava

En los lagares de Navia, al igual que en el resto de Asturias, se lleva a cabo una antigua tradición de celebrar espichas. Esta tradición se originó cuando en los lagares tenían que corchar y colgaban una rama de laurel en la entrada, los vecinos se acercaban a degustar la nueva sidra directamente del tonel, en lo que se llama espichar, y a cambio ayudaban en la tarea de corchar. En cualquier época del año, un grupo de amigos se reúne para acompañar la sidra con tortillas, huevos cocidos, chorizos a la sidra y otras delicias de la gastronomía popular asturiana. Se come de pie, lo que favorece socializar y disfrutar de una reunión dinámica y divertida moviéndonos para probar los distintos platos y hablar con las personas al lado. Si tenemos un gaitero para animar, la fiesta será completa.
