Goldilocks - National City

I live in Texas where there are no Goldilocks. Whenever we go to California, I jump at the chance to go to Goldilocks ever since we were introduced to this Filipino food chain. This particular location was not the 'point-point ' (cafeteria style) restaurant we are accustomed to. We didn 't always know the names of the dishes so we would point at what we wanted. At this location, we ordered off the menu like a regular restaurant. The food was the best-tasting we had ever had at any Filipino restaurant. We ordered bihon pancit, garlic fried rice, Shanghai spring rolls, fresh lumpia, lechon kawali (my fave), chicken adobo, beef mechado, fried bangus (another of my faves). There were four of us, and we almost ate all this food! The food was so delicious, and the service was excellent! We also had a taste of Carioca and ube jelly roll that my friend bought in the bakery. I loved the Carioca. We 'll definitely visit again!

As a Seattle native, every time I visit my extended family in San Diego, I always make sure to stop by Goldilocks. The entire menu is delicious, and the staff is incredibly friendly!

If you're looking to impress guests of different backgrounds, take them to Goldilocks. They serve the best Kare-Kare in town, along with a wide variety of other delicious dishes to choose from.

Last time I was in a Goldilocks store was 15 years ago and I miss it. Food delicious as always. Need one in the East Coast
