Taqueria Del Sol

The cheeseburger taco is amazing. So are the charro beans and greens. Great value too. The blue plate special of meatloaf was an unexpected delight for a Mexican food restaurant. Parking on the side and back of the building is a big plus.

Absolutely fabulous food. We moved to Nashville from Athens, GA which is where Taqueria del Sol originated. We always loved Taqueria del Sol in Athens because the quality of the food is top notch plus it is super fast! The food almost comes out faster than you can find your table. We had drinks on the patio and shared the salsa trio while taking a break from shopping on 12 the south. Will definitely go back for a full meal as the salsas had great flavor, esp the Verde.

Good place for tacos. Needs more variety, the tacos are a little basic for the cost. It's just a trendy place to eat and once people get bored they will move on.
