Some of the best pastries in town! Months ago I was home on a random Sunday with nothing to do but find a solid croissant because I had a craving. A quick Yelp search I stumbled upon Brightside Bakeshop and they looked legit. I walked in and got a classic croissant, one of their signature cinnaroll and then this magical thing called a kouign amann. I was in heaven, true heaven! Now it's a mild addiction and I order ahead so they don't sell out before I get there.Their monthly specials are seasonal, ever changing variety between savory and sweet you just have to try them all. Weekends are busy and Saturday they can sell out quick. Highly recommend pre-ordering Friday evening for your Saturday breakfast so you have ease of mind you'll get your delicious treats. The staff is so kind, welcoming and love guiding you if you just simply can't make up your mind. The shop is setup to where you see everything happening in the kitchen which as an at home baker I love getting a little glimpse of the magic. If you can please stop by! This place is so yummy. The chocolate roll and the cinna roll had my mouth watering. I will say, if you have plans to eat there they don’t warm up their rolls. Which sucks because they are amazing warm. So if you take them home, just heat for ten seconds.

I had a chocolate croissant that was very good… However, they put flaked salt on top of it. It just didn’t work for me. Additionally, it is really a made to order bakeshop… They had about seven different items available for purchase five of which were croissants.
