Przekaż informację zwrotnąTributary Café left a great impression on me. The ambiance was just right, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere. As for the food, I had the bread pudding, and it was a delightful experience. The flavors were rich and comforting, and it was the perfect ending to my meal. If you're looking for a place with a nice vibe and a tasty dessert, Tributary Café is definitely worth trying out.
Drove over 45 mins to come try them out just to read a paper sign on the door that they are updating wont open until mid late September 2023. Wish I would’ve known this BEFOREHAND!
This was my return trip to Tributary Cafe. The first time I came was a few years ago. There were some issues with the food, but it was corrected. This review is based on my recent visit to see if there was any improvement or if I'd like to start coming here. I'm sad to say, I was not impressed with the food. The service is ok. The place is not very big and it was crowded the evening that I was there. It looks like they do have some nice patio seating, but it was too hot for that. The food was the worst part for me. I ordered the Fried Chicken w/ Dirty Rice and Brussels, Fried Green Tomatos and a cup of gumbo and my partner ordered the Shrimp Victoria. To start the fried green tomatos and the gumbo were good. The fried chicken was darker than I'd have like. To just the point before burnt, where the breading did have the slightly burnt taste. The chicken was juicy, but almost flavorless beyond the burnt taste. It seems the chicken is brined, but I almost think the brine is probably too sweet, because there was a hint of sweetness in the chicken's meat that was a little off putting. There was little to no seasoning in the breading or on the chicken. Very disappointed in the fried chicken. The sides were great. Brussels were perfectly seasoned with a nice crisp bite and the dirty rice was delicious. As for my partners meal, He stated the Shrimp Victoria was good, but $24 for 5 pieces of shrimp did not seem like a good deal.Lastly, the best thing about the place is it's charm and the one drink I had. It is a very cozy spot and they had live music, which was also nice. I had their version of a Sazarac, it was a bit sweeter than the one I had a few weeks ago in New Orleans, but it was tasty in its own regard. I did enjoy it.All in all was a slightly below average experience and I don't know if I would visit again.
I really have no idea how this place has 4.5 stars. I wanted cajun for my birthday, i asked Madeline our waitress what was the best and she said the fried chicken. That's our first red flag, etoufee had no depth of flavor, no spice, which is everything i crave in cajun. Even the bread pudding was 2 stars. I told her it was my birthday and she just looked at me and even though we ordered 2 desserts nothing. Service was poor, wait times long, they added 15% onto our check and 4% credit card processing fee. Unless youre paying close attention you wouldnt notice and it was no where on the menu that was advertised. And.... it was hot! We were seated right next to the one pane windows and i was literally sweating. We wont be back.
The food was amazing and great customer service. For sure I will coming back again!
