Everyone welcomed us at the entrance and it was great. We sat in another room right away. It was nice to have the room for us. The waitress was attentive and brought wine glasses right away and asked if she could cork our bottle. We ordered the agadashi tofu (a personal favorite everywhere), the sushi for 2 and two more roles. Each piece was delicious and I especially loved the sweet potato roll. Yum! We'll be back for our next sushi gift.
I love Gin Za and have gone there for about 20 years since Mr. Sung opened it after the renovation of the former gas station, which was free for a few years. It is a very friendly place and the food is very consistently excellent. During the week it is often quiet and peaceful, and it was my home cooking after work when my wife is from the city. I was very sad of the death of Mr. Sung in February 2016, but his son Kyun has brought forward the atmosphere of the place, and it is always pleasant to chat with him about our families. I highly recommend Gin Za to your regular place for very pleasant Japanese cuisine and relaxation!
The service was fantastic! I enjoyed the variety in the Sushi Deluxe. Beautiful selection of appetizers.
Foods are fresh and beautiful. Cosy and warm atmosphere. Crews are very friendly. I had Sushi and Sashimi, Beef teriyaki, Chicken katsu. Definitely one of the best Japanese restaurants around the city.
Been eating at this place for over 10 years, second generations owner. Great sushi, great service, very warm friendly staffs. The previous late owner was so kind and sweet, now is his son's turn to run the joint, like father like son. Great people. We love them so much, support them as much as we can, we have celebrated many birthdays and others special occasions.
