Redwood - Naples

With my wife and my inlaws. The only one who was happy with her whole meal was my father Schwieger. None of the meals came the way the menu said: All meals served with salad and choice of potato or vegetables. I got a lasagna and asked for a salad, but no vegetables or potatoes were offered. My wife asked for engraving on her main nativity and fries. I asked for more gravity for her after her food came. The severity that was brought out looked like a very different severity. My mother-in-law has a bag of chips with her meal. That didn't say the menu. The waitress did a very good job, but no good experience.

A BLT on roasted Rye bread ordered. Salad was sponge, tomatoes was not ripe a little green inside not much bacon. Was charged $8.45. I ordered it to come without FF....Cup coffee was $2.25.

7/25/2020 Today I took my mother for lunch at the Coffee Shop. We had a delicious tuna sandwich and a chicken souvlaki sandwich with cake. Our waitress was so sweet and did a great job. I have read other comments about the decor in the 70s. I wanted to experience that, because fifty years ago at 7/25/1970 we had our reception with about 100 people at Redwood. My sister had her reception before. People went there when you live in Wayland. The site was beautifully back as and our photographer Barbara Borman was made our wedding photos near trees when the owners told us that their private property was outside the borders. We said the woman was very sick and it was annoying. At least today we were not thrown off the property. Today we felt comfortable with social distancing. I hope you'll be here for a long time. I look forward to my next experience.

We enjoy the down-home, country atmosphere of this local restaurant. Generally the wait staff is pleasant and efficient no matter how many customers are there. The food is what your grandmother/mom would have made and there's plenty of it at reasonable prices.

Food was pretty good and very cheap. Service was good. Has not been cosmetically upgraded in quite a long time but was very nice.
