Sukkho Thai - Nanaimo

Online ordering option gave a discount. Did not say what options can be made vegan easily, but we just added “vegan” as order form. 2/3 dishes were very good, but the pad Thai was bland. In a pinch we are happy to eat here, but would not choose this place. Other coconut milk dishes.

The staff is very friendly and attentive. The food was very good. It's not my fav, but I'd like to go back and try more.

We checked this place on the basis of the reviews here at Happy Kuh and we were very satisfied. Staff are super friendly are very willing to offer a vegan diet. The food was some of the best ethnic food I had for a long time. Two thumbs up!

Was a little scary about restaurants here not totally comprehending 'vegetarian', but I was asked what kind of veggie I was (vegan, lacto-ovo, etc.)! I felt she really understood and would not try to sneak something like a oyster sauce into my padthai. Overall, I'll go back because I felt comfortable. the food was good, not misunderstand me, but the customer service is what appears.

Been here several times. Originally was told curry was vegan but later learned had shrimp paste... Not sure if they changed ingridents later but was upset. Make sure to have waiter double check with kitchen staff as there is confusion about what is truly vegan.
