I love diners and was happy to find this one! The atmosphere was somewhat retro- it could use a little color- red would be bright and cheery. My friend is a regular. He knows Lorraine, our waitress. She could've been brighter and more cheery, too. It took a while, but she eventually bright a knife and fork. I wound up using the spoon from my tea. She acted as if I was bothering her! The food was good, although it would've been much more pleasant if my grits were in a separate bowl instead of running out on the plate into the omelet. The portions were large.

Excellent service from my beautiful waitress Lourdes. She made my Saturday. Environment needs to be upgrade but food and service excellent. Thanks Lourdes!!
