Dickey's Barbecue Pit - Muskegon

10/10 would return 100%. Go in, order at the counter then take a seat and wait for heaven to arrive. We got the Pit Boss#1 1lb of brisket that was AMAZING They left the fatty/crunchy deliciously smoked layer for ALL of the flavor. It was a Close your eyes and savor the moment experience. The beans, slaw. baked potato casserole AND fried pickles and rolls were ALL outstanding. We really enjoyed the sweet BBQ sauce, but they have a whole variety from original to various degrees of spicy. While we were there they accidentally made an extra serving of fried pickles and after questioning everyone in the restaurant, they chose to give them to another group having their dinner.

We stopped here on the way to our hotel. I'd never heard of Dickey's, but my friends said that they used to go a location down south. I had a 2 meat platter, brisket and pulled pork, with waffle fries and fried pickle chips for my sides. It was all delicious, and every sauce I tried was great. I was full, but I managed to squeeze in some ice cream. Note: you order from the left side of the counter, not the right where you walk in the door there's even a sign but I missed it. The kid behind the counter had a good sense of humor about it. Now I wish we had one Up North in Gaylord or Petoskey.

I've never had a bad experience here. After roughly a year of knowing about this place and coming frequently for lunch I can't find any complaints honestly. Staff at the drive thru is great, always nice talking.

I enjoy Dickey's daily special and when I went April 2nd every thing was super great! 5 stars all the way the manager took our order had great recommendations for what was good on the menu. I had never had their ribs and they had a special on them so I got some to share with the family. Everything was hot and good tasting usually the sauce is really where the seasonings is, but this time my meat was actually well season and tender. The sides was hot and fresh. They just did an excellent job all the way around. Ryan the manager came by our table and I had to give him his props and said I would leave a review because they did an outstanding job. Thank you to the crew yall made me feel like I was the most important customer and took pride in your food.

I am SO impressed by this grill! I always have to order the chopped brisket. It's phenomenal! A few weeks ago my friend ordered the chicken and it was so tender and juicy until we could cut it with a plastic spoon! I love the amount of page options. My favorites are the Mac and Cheese and Waffles. My favorite bbq sauce is the spicy. It has the perfect amount of heat. You can also not go wrong with an ice cone at the end of your meal! I'm so happy Dickeys is here in Muskegon!!
