More customers flow like it now in the middle of morning and church as omitted. Still Melody makes the lonely waitress her best to accommodate all customers. There is a problem with the ladies' room, as the door shut some like. Woman must use men's room as I think the owner says customers rude to use men's room. Around 11:30, what seems to be another waitress coming, goes behind counters, waves and then go outside to make a call. While the coffee pots are empty, the dishes are asleep on the tables and the customers are still coming. Melody smiles and pleasant for all her customers, give this girl an increase! Left and handed over Melody a big tip and she was much remarkable. Unfortunately, we will probably not return. Omelettes we? re ok, decor is dated and owner must find more staff to Melody?s wants.
It hasn't been there for years, but just a short lunch. It was very slow, 2 other customers. I ordered a very simple court and it was terrible. Fried mushrooms were a black squishy mess, chicken strips were hard to chew with dough that slipped off and lubricated like rancid oil, Mozzarella sticks were barely edible.
Stopped on a Sunday afternoon to find this family-owned diner relatively quiet with only a handful of people inside. Interior is dated with water stained ceiling tiles, torn booth seats and a taped broken glass front entrance door. Place was overall clean, but could definitely use some TLC and updates. Menu offers an extensive selection of classic New York Diner food for breakfast and lunch, with made from scratch ingredients and family generational recipes. Our order was the Mediterranean Panini with grilled chicken breast, sun dried tomatoes, mozzarella and a side of sauce of your choice. Was disappointed that it wasn?t the traditional Italian bread like Focaccia or Ciabatta with its grilled toasted texture and grill marks from being pressed. Instead, pita bread that was cooked on a grill. Had more of quesadilla look and feel to it. A good amount of chicken and flavor on the inside and fries were crispy and plentiful. Service was friendly, efficient and prices doable.
Food is good. Menu is extensive. Restaurant and restroom need a deep cleaning though. Bathroom was disgusting.
Food is special. Best French toast! Service by people who care and the owner is watching. You can eat here, keep your dollars local and get in and out about as fast as the golden arches.
